ORLANDO BLOOM ON GETTING COMFORTABLE NUDE WHILE FILMING (AND OTHER ROMANTIC GEMS)

Bloom revealed he eventually found his, ahem, nude groove while filming the drama 'Zulu,' in which he plays South African homicide detective, Brian Epkeen.

"I got in the best shape of my life for that movie," he told ELLE magazine.

"It was quite amusing walking around set and seeing the crew avert their eyes at first. Then there were a few more people watching playback. I got so comfortable with it I could brush up behind someone and go, 'Oh, excuse me.'"

When Bloom was asked if he found the nudity empowering, he replied: "It was. Dude, it is what it is. It’s flesh and bone. It’s what we all are."

The 36-year-old actor also took the opportunity to impart a few gems of wisdom he's learned about love and women.

Bloom believes in love at first sight (but he won't discuss Miranda)

Perhaps it has something to do with starring in Shakespeare's most famous play, Romeo & Juliet, on Broadway, but he is a believer! 'The Hobbit' actor revealed "I'm completely in love with the idea of love. Maybe I’m all misty about it because I’m playing Romeo. But I really believe in, you know, that sort of heart-to-heart connection."

Asked if it was love at first sight with Miranda Kerr, his soon-to-be ex-wife, the actor changed subject. "It was a lot of things. And actually, I’d rather not talk about it."

The actor felt guilty when a fan fainted at the sight of him

"The other night, I was outside the theatre, and this girl said to me, 'Oh, thank God I didn’t faint. The last time I saw you, I fainted and got 14 stitches.'" he told the mag, adding, "She showed me a huge scar on her forehead. I felt terrible."

Women come first

When asked if that was literally (ie in the bedroom), or figuratively speaking, he quipped: "Listen man, I just gave you the line. You take it as you need."
