TV HERCULES KEVIN SORBO IS P***ED HE'S NOT IN THE NEW 'HERCULES' MOVIE

If you wondered whether Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's new 'Hercules' movie might include a cameo of TV's 1990s Hercules Kevin Sorbo, then wonder no more, because Kevin has made it clear it isn't happening. And he ain't happy about it.

Speaking to Dish, the actor openly gave his opinion on the matter.

"I think it's kind of stupid really," Kevin said. "To not put me in a cameo is taking the business out of show business."

The actor's team apparently approached the film's director, Brett Ratner, who knocked them back.

"We approached the director. I don't know what his reasons are," Sorbo said. "I don't know if it was political or ego or what it is? To not put me in for a stupid little cameo? The audience would have loved it."

The director's reps are yet to comment on the situation.

Kevin's 'Hercules: The Legendary Journeys' TV show ran from 1995 - 1999.

Since 'Hercules,' Kevin has spent a lot of time on the small screen (with a few bit parts on the big screen), including guest appearances in hit shows like 'Dharma and Greg,' 'The O.C.' and 'Andromeda'.

'Hercules' opens in local cinemas on July 24.
