WATCH THE FULL TRAILER FOR PAUL WALKER'S LAST FILM, 'FURIOUS 7'

It feels rather surreal to watch the late Paul Walker reprising his role of Brian O'Conner one last time in the latest Fast & Furious installment, 'Furious 7'.

The 40-year-old actor died in November last year in a tragic car accident -- during the middle of making this film.

Earlier this year Universal Pictures, the studio behind the franchise, said they would 'retire' his character without killing him off, and we're really hoping they've stuck to their word.

Paul's brothers Caleb and Cody were used as stand-ins to complete filming, with film-makers also using CGI to complete some of the late actor's scenes.

After a week of teasers on the official Facebook page, the full trailer finally made its way into the world, and the footage shows us that the Fast family is still going strong. For now.

In this, the seventh film, Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) is out for revenge, taking aim squarely at the Fast family after Dom (Vin Diesel) and his crew killed his brother Owen Shaw.

As always, the set up allows for some really, really, ridiculous stunts -- we're looking at cars parachuting out of a plane this time and some hectic fight scenes courtesy of action man Jason -- but you can't help feeling at home watching the crazy stunts successfully executed by the crew you know and love.

And that feeling of watching Paul Walker for the beginning of the last time makes it all a little more poignant; something completely unexpected from a Fast & Furious film.

In an E! Network special celebrating the release of the trailer, Vin Diesel said the film's objective was "to honour my brother Paul Walker and his legacy."

Something tells us we're going to need the tissues for 'Furious 7'.
