JEFF DANIELS REVEALS THE GROSSEST 'DUMB AND DUMBER TO' SCENE

Jeff Daniels has revealed the grossest thing he does in Dumb and Dumber To, which comes 20 years after the original proved he had some serious comedic chops.

In an interview with the New York Post, Daniels was asked to reveal the dumbest thing he does in the new movie.

"Licking Lloyd’s finger [after Lloyd has shoved them down the back of his pants]," he said.

Um, ew.

"I made one request of myself as I drove to George to shoot this movie. I said, 'You have to be fearless'. When you’re with Jim and the Farrellys, there’s an outrageousness, and you just have to dive in," he said.

“Lcking the fingers? It didn’t matter. Jim could have put them where the sun don’t shine, and I still would have gone method and licked them.”

The sequel to the 1994 cult hit sees Harry (Daniels) and Lloyd (Jim Carrey) reunite to search for one of their long lost children in hopes of gaining a new kidney.

But the follow-up flick wouldn’t have happened if Daniels hadn’t ignored advice from his agents all those years ago.

"The night before I flew out to LA to start he wardrobe fitting [on the first film], three agents got on the phone and said, 'We’re gonna stop this. You’re not gonna do this movie,'" he said.

"I said, 'No, I want to do comedy, and I need to change it up.'"

Dumb and Dumber To is released in Australia cinemas from January 8, 2015.
