The new poster for Fifty Shades of Grey has been released - and we've got the very first look.

The black and white artwork shows Dakota Johnson - who plays Anastasia Steele - biting her lip seductively, a behaviour fans of the book will recognise as one of her signature looks.

23-year-old Johnson (who is the daughter of Melanie Griffith) stars opposite handsome Irishman Jamie Dornan, who tackles the role of mysterious and enigmatic Christian Grey, in the film.

The adaption of E.L.. James' best-selling phenomenon is one of the most hotly anticipated films of 2015, and is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson.

Singer Rita Ora and True Blood actor Luke Grimes are also due to make appearances in the film.

The film's next trailer is released later this week and is sure to send the internet into another 'Fifty Shades' frenzy.

The film opens on Australian shores February 12, 2015.
